Oh and this hand....

Aahahahahah oh jesus I have to add this too.

This was another $10 sit and go, same one.

Late in it, ive got about 1900 chips blind are 50/100 I think.

Delt AQ in middle pos, had 2 others in the pot too with me.

Flop comes Q4Q, im thinking WA WA WEE WA look at this, all my chips will somehow get in.

first raiser raised to like 300 or something, I called. the other guy called too.

Turn was an 9 or something, The guy bets 600, i called, the other guy called.

Im thinking like, what beats me? 44 and 99? like what are the odds.

River is a K, now im like ok so kk,44,99

all in, allin, allin. im pot commited what else would I do.

What do you think they turned over? Initial raiser turns over 44 for flopped full house, the other guy turns over KK for rivered full house. Im left scratching my head wondering where I went wrong.

What the.....

Well I had an interesting day of play yesterday. Interesting as in very shitty.

Example, since ive managed to donk off most of my bankroll, ive dropped down to "playable" levels at least for me.

One of my favorable games are the $10+$1 sng's on stars, fuck the turbos - the 10 min ones are way more exploitable imo even if card dead. Choices are 18 seat, 27 seat, or the slower running 45 seat ones.

I love these, very weak opposition, you can mix it up too, catch some big monster flops and let the lagtards destroy themselves.

Anyways with a small bankroll like mine these are perfect, I decided to hit up the 27 seater.

Im doing ok, made a monster play with AA, checked the river when he checked, I just sensed strength from him, and of course he had caught runner-runner straight, lost the minimum.

Later ill try to remember this hand, im delt KK with the blinds at 75/150 and my stack a gruesome low at 1200, I just wasnt getting any love from the deck. UNTIL NOW!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEE I thought, this will be a double up.

Short stack moves in with Qs 10h for about 750 chips. Folds to me in late pos, I go all-in for my 1200.

Now, button moves all in too..... with JJ.

Im thinking, allll right, maybe if my hand holds im going to be facing a triple-up.

Flop: 8 J x Turn: x Riv: 9

So the Q10 guy ends up with the biggest fortune with his straight, wonderful. Sucks even more for the guy hitting his set and getting owned.

Dissapointing but hardly surprising. Given its 2 other players im a favorite but only marginal, I expected to win but not shocked when I didnt.

Soooo I manged to lose another 2 games and lost most of my small bankroll again. I dont really think Im going to keep playing until I can make a formidable deposit, perhaps on my birthday in june.

One thing I am trying though is the WSOP 200 seat giveaway, buyin is $350+$20. Prize pool is 2.5 million obviously from the 200 main event seats.

This will be loooooaded with donks and good players, if I play it properly I could wind up with a nice bankroll of $12,500. Ive told myself that if I can take this down and win a ME seat (the money) I will withdraw $6000 for personal use, and leave $6,500 on pokerstars so I can start playing what I love to play, cash games.

I greatly enjoy cash to tournament play, however I have found FR 1/2 on Stars to be tougher than say, cake poker's 1/2 FR cash.

If I had a bankroll of $6,500 to play with, I would most certainly play .50/1. It seems fishy, at least moreso than 1/2.... I can name off so many regs without even looking at PT.

65 buy-ins would be glorious, what a nice cushion! If I can beat that level after about 3-4 months of play ill perhaps move up to 1/2 but im getting ahead of myself.

First goal is to dominate that 200 ME seat tourney, I know its costly and a big tournament considering my dwindling bankroll, but I see no greater oppertunity than this. The main thing is I will not be playing with scared money, it will most likely be a birthday gift, so ill just play smart like I usually do? simple.

Hmmmm

Well, like most tourneys once I make the money I increase my aggressiveness, in order to reach the final table.

In the tourney yesterday I managed to JUSt make the money, in 53rd place (top 54 got paid)

Kinda shitty, heres the situation....

Blinds were 1600/800 I believe.... I had a 13,000 stack AND was the big blind, so technically 11,400.

Delt QJ suited hearts.

A raise from EP to 4800.... all folds to me.... Im thinking, im going to need to push back all in, there really is no point in folding as im one of the short stacks. If I want any chance of succeeding in this tourney im going to need to make a move.

Now if it was raise, re-raise, then back to me, it would be an instafold imo.

Anyway it wasnt, and I pushed back, he turns over AJ suited clubs. He actually took awhile to call because we had just entered the money and I had been playing pretty tight (card dead)

Obviously I didnt improve and was out.

Im actually running quite low on money, online I have virtually nothing, and offline I dont have much more to deposit if needed. Pokerstars has swallowed most of my Cake Poker cashout which was $2400. (2 deposits of $600 + $215 for a sunday mil)

True I was playing 1/2 with it, so its moderately risky, but since I had been doing that on cake for 2 months I was soooo used to it, the players on Cake are certainly worse.

Cakes software sucks though so I really wanted to go back to pokerstars, its just so damn soft at cake ahhhhhh, a real conundrum. When I say cake's software sucks, im not being nice to them because its true. Their software is so goddamn shitty, its hard for me to describe it in worse.

Lets just say that, chips disappear, screen will freeze, games will lock up, text bugs beyond your wildest dreams... the list goes on.

I run a bot-program for an MMORPG called Lineage II. If you know this game then you know its a grindfest and 80% of the players use a bot program to "level" their characters. Essentially its just killing the same monsters over and over for days and days just to get 1 level.

If you do not bot you need to dedicate 8-10 hours a day playing, killing the same mobs over and over. Fuck that, lol. I love the PVP (player vs player) fighting element of the game, and the graphics are quite superb, its just the monster killing that sucks. Anyway my character is level 37 now after about 2 weeks of botting but that is hardly the point.

I tried to play a free roll on cake, well its you pay 1 gold card (ive collected sooooo many gold cards) and you get a chance to win 60 seats to the sunday $150,000 guar tourney. (value $164)

The software was the worst ive ever seen it, it totally annihilated cake, literally you could not see the table, it was so graphic glitchy. I almost wanted to lose so I didnt have to play anymore on it.

PS/UB/FT all work perfect when im running Lineage II, its just cake sucks so bad it can't handle it.

Damn im really dissing cake considering how much I like the bad players on there. However since I started botting on L2 I cant play on cake, just wont happen, I run the L2 program 24/7.

Tournaments, they eat money?

So much variance in tourneys, im currently in a $24 one on FTP.

So far ive made good laydowns, soulreads, and stacked a guy. Its a good start, but sometimes I find myself asking if its worth it.

Alot of the time you do not cash in tourneys, thats just how it works, ask anyone for their stats over a year. When you do cash, its a minor amount usually unless you go deeeeeeeeeeep. If you manage to get into the elite top 9, even still its not that great until top 5.

Sick! so sick! -phil laak

Honestly I prefer cash games immensly, more skilled players sadly but the reward is much greater.

Annnnnnd there, i doubled up again to 10.5k huzzah. 61th place.

Im going for 1st, thats just how its going down. I need the cash.... in order to play cashgames instead of these damn moneysuckers!

I just feel honestly that I will acheive greatness from sticking to them, even though suffering a -$1.200 downswing I still will stick with them, I can safely say ive blown 2k on big tourneys with no success, its called lack of BRM.

Whhhoooaaaaaaaa

I just made a blog, like totally.
