Havnt posted in about 2 months, I was supposed to keep doing this weekly but im failing a bit on that.
So heres my current spot. I am getting a little help with a deposit onto pokerstars or full tilt in the next 3-4 days, going to deposit $2000 to play 50nl with. Thats about 40 buy ins, i think thats a comfortable amount to 12 table with.
My goal is to get supernova on pokerstars in 3 months if I choose to play there, I really thing its possible if I dedicate alot of hours.
I will be updating this now every week. You will be able to track my progress weekly on here, the good weeks and the bad weeks, hopefully alot more good than bad.

Poker and life
Sup bros.
Ive been not playing too much poker lately, if I have been playing its been in big MTT's trying for the super huge score. Ive gotten fairly close on a few occasions but couldnt pull it off.
Im kind of busto right now as ive lent some money to family, spent alot $$$ on myself and of course ive shipped about $2000 back into MTTs in the past 2 months, fail.
So im trying one more time, I think im a good no limit holdem player, not amazing but good, I just need a bankroll to build with. So im trying again, using the awesome power of poor bankroll management im buying into the $300+$22 FTOPS event #10 at 6pm today.
I actually find MTT's to be frustrating as 99% of the time you arnt going to get a sick score, I would prefer to play 50nl or 100nl, but I would need about $2500-$5000 to play cash and I really cannot afford it. My bankroll is about $2000 right now and I dont feel like depositing allllllllllllll I have left, but $300? I must try for fox sake.
Obviously I wouldnt be playing it if I didnt feel I have an edge on most of the players, the field is going to be quite soft even though its a $300 buyin, because of all the sattlite players.
I need another "one-time".... a few times. Even if I cash in top 100 players I make like $1800 or some shit, bam instantly there is a 50nl bankroll, thinking about it... it would be pretty saddening actually to finish like 90th out of 5000 players especially when 1st is like $260,000.

Im slacking on this
Yeah I really am forgetting to post in here, sorry.
Well I have had alot of things happen in the past few weeks, I stopped using a staker for 50nl for start, my thing with him lasted about 1 month I guess, I lost him about $800 or so, ballin.
I quit with him mainly because I came in 4th in the MSOP event #15 for $7,600! This big roll has helped me alot in quite a few ways.
Firstly, I withdrew $5000 of my win for life expenses, and ill buy a couple presents for myself like the new Iphone 3GS <-- BALLER and also a new Desktop PC from newegg.ca. Buying both of those will prolly only cost $1000 or so so ill have alot left. The rest of the money, $2600, im going to leave on full tilt poker and "Freeroll" with it lol, if I lose it oh well, if I win, fantastic. Im already down about $1000 sadly so I have about $1600 left for 50-100nl.
My live poker bankroll has been dwindling to about $1500 or so, but at least with this withdrawal I will have about $7000 canadian in my pocket for poker and things I need.
Even with this win I dislike online poker alot right now, I just dont feel like I can win at the cash games I enjoy playing (100nl-200nl) and I guess im too prideful to want to grind 25 or 50nl, but I know I should probably just hang out at 50nl for awhile and grind/learn/profit as im lacking a few things for a solid cash game play.
Honestly... if I was 21... which I will be this month.. I would go to vegas and play live poker all evening/night and perhaps play online poker during the day in the slow hours, that would be fun to me as the 2/5 cash games play like a 25nl game or worse.

Epic fail
Not too epic of a fail though.
I mean, I guess im not capable of beating 100nl right now, im basically breakeven, with some losses due to a -250 day yesterday so im at like -550 right now...sigh
Kind of depressing, I guess i cant lay down set over set.... sad.
Well ive dropped down to 50nl and im trying to beat that now, I honestly couldnt give half a shit really as im just biding time, waiting, biding time...waiting for...something....that may...neverrrr comeeeee...
sorry, random song lyrics, im waiting... for my house to sell so I wont be backed, ill just fund myself. Dont get me wrong, I love the staking arrangement, its just id rather play with my own money IF i have it, if I dont have it like right now, this staking is a godsend.
Id rather make half the profits and if I lose, i lose nothing of my own, I just have to re-make the money before "we" can collect profits. Its like having an unlimited bankroll that variance cannot harm.
Well like I said im going to be playing 50nl for awhile, should be interesting.

Take off every 'Zig!
Well I managed to screw up with the $5000 and lost about 3500, withdrew the remaining amount for my live poker bankroll. Its now at around $2800 or so, so thats nice.
In the future im going to update this blog at least once a week from now on, ive been slacking and seriously busy with poker.
Yes... online poker, even though I failed hard on pokerstars it was not bad luck, it was my own stupidity. Hence why I removed what was left so I didnt keep up my epic failure.
Now that I have a solid 2/5 live poker bankroll, I decided to find a way to play online again too! I got myself a backer from a well known site, specifcally though the backer is from sharkstaking.com and hes a really nice guy from the UK. He also has a coach on his site, its new so only 1 coach but hes very solid 2/4 player so hes quite helpful indeed.
I got staked 1800 bucks for 100nl, and im in for about 2500 now because I run like poop and am now working on making up the losses, sad really. Its like I always run the 2nd nuts into the nuts, even against 41/11 fish.
Ive grinded about... 30-35k hands this month so far with my goal being about 75-80k hands per month. This is alot of volume imotbh, and by the end of the year I should have logged 550,000-600,000 hands. Soliddddd.
Now... to work on not sucking so much and actually winning. I forgot to mention he did start my stake off at 50nl to test me out, and I made him about 11 buyins (550) in about 5 days then he moved me up. Too bad I couldnt continue doing well, sigh.

Oops, or ups if your gus hansen.
Well I kinda forgot about this blog after I got the moniez but alot of stuff has happened.
I kinda took some shots when I was drunk and lost money at 5/10 lol... my $5000 roll has dropped to roughly $3000.
Still 3k is enough to grind back losses at 100nl, which I have been doing now and should have always done.
I guess I prefer the higher level thinking at the 200nl+ games but I have told myself no more shots at higher limits because my roll is hurting already and its like 1 week into the grind.
So from now on I will only grind teh 100nl'z.
I dont really have too many exciting hands and I obviously don't want to post my losing hands I mean, who enjoys that?
Ill post again once I have some really positive results.

Ok. Its nearly time.
If you have read any of my past posts ive been waiting on money to play poker full time with, well it might be happening in a few hours. If not I will start on monday.
Im really excited to start playing 100nl again, 9 tables to start and possibly moving to 12 once I get comfortable.

New Year.
Its the new year, 2008 was pretty shitty in general, so im hoping 2009 is greatly improved.
Its been since....july? that ive been waiting for money to play full time online. I assumed our house would sell, did not happen. I assumed the equity loan would be processed by now, did not happen.
Good news? Well the house equity loan is going to be "processed" by maybe the end of next week, 99% sure.
So finally after like 4-5 months I can finally play seriously online, with a $5000 bankroll @ 100nl.
Im happy but honestly ive been waiting so long I almost dont even give half a shit anymore. Im fucking pissed about the american economy collapsing and basically fucking over everyone in the world.
Canada is #1 in terms of bank safety right now in the world, yet even they will not give out loans. We have over $220,000 in equity in our house, and its a bloody struggle to even get ~25% of it out for our family.
Sigh. Oh well, another couple weeks and perhaps I will finally attain my goal of LAST year.
If this happens I swear to god I will make at least $25k profit this year, not including rakeback. I want at least $40k before I decide to move out.
